2011 F1 Girls For Sale
We are offering four of our F1 ewes this year; three horned and one polled.
They have all performed wonderfully for us, but are getting older and would
benefit from the personal attention that comes from being part of a smaller
flock. I would prefer to sell them with at least one flock-mate, as it will be
confusing enough for them to go to a new home.

This chunky ewe came from the True North flock dispersal, and is one of the few Sponn offspring
left. She has the wide, blocky Sponn conformation, and gains weight faster than any animal I've
ever seen! She carries black mouflon.

Sugarmaple also came from the True North dairy, and is the only Ljori daughter left alive (as far as I
know) Each season she has raised her lambs on 1/2 an udder with no assistance, the right side
having been destroyed by mastitis her first year lambing, but she will need help raising twins from
now on. Even if she only produces singles for the rest of her career, they will be worth it! Sugar is
homozygous white.

This large gal is a lovely blending of the meat conformation of her mother, Athena, and the more
delicate fleece conformation from Noi. She has her Daddy's fleece for sure! She has very good
horns and is more parasite-resistant than her mother. Like Sugarmaple, she appears to be
homozygous white, as all her lambs are white.

and we have so few acres. Our loss is your gain - these ewes have all
demonstrated the ability (by living) to master the parasites and extreme climate
