This gal was very strong and fast-growing all year, so we forgave her "single" status. Almond has
a beautiful, heavy fleece, and beautiful heavy horns (which we don't always get out of Aspen).

Privet has been named for her grandmother, who was the same color, but not quite as good an
animal as this ewe lamb. She came as something of a surprise to us, as I expected Blizzard to
throw a solid. We are delighted to have this gal in our flock, as Blizzard has moved on the

This is another miracle baby - like Flax, Deodara prolapsed toward the end of pregnancy and I was
lucky enough to be in the barn when she went into labor. I would have liked to keep both
daughters, but am happy that I have at least one still in the flock. Deodara 2 is built just like her
dam, and should give us many years of superior meat lambs for our business.
