This year we will again be offering raw fleeces for sale. These fleeces will be heavily skirted, with as much VM (vegetative matter) removed as possible. All suitable fleeces will be posted on the web until we send them off to The Mill. This year we are offering machined rovings and a small selection of Handspun bulky yarn*. We also have some Handspun tog yarn for crafters. Raw lamb fleeces, which are generally softer than adult fleeces, are $25.00/lb. Raw adult fleeces, which can either be spun with tog and thel together for a Lopi-style yarn, or can be separated into thel for cashmere-type garments and tog for weaving, basketry, and art yarns are $20.00/lb. All weights are approximate - you will receive more fleece than you pay for

Red-lettered fleeces have been processed into spinner's roving, and are packaged in 4 oz. skeins. Each skein is $12.00, and makes one pair of socks or mittens when spun.

Our whites this year have a wide range of shades, but all have unbelievable luster - even the clips from the older girls. Any of the whites would be wonderful fleeces to use for a dye project or to blend for a tweed. All our white fleeces from the ram lambs will be processed into roving and custom dyed. Check back in a few months to see what colors are available.
