Sire:  Prestur John (LF19M) - AI son of Prestur plus Old Mori
Dam:  Elizabeth (LF12N) - Biskup/Ari grandaughter
Flekkur great grandaughter plus Old Mori
Heather has grown into a lovely adult, and her tendency to misbehave has changed, but you still
don't want to let her see an open gate! As a yearling, Heather developed a fondness for people,
and will come to us from across the pasture to find out what we're up to. Heather was bred to Ilex
for 2007, and had a set of huge lambs.  She will be bred to Ilex again for 2008, as the results were
so outstanding!
DCI39R  Mountain Laurel (5/11/2005)

                                             carries bloodlines from Ari,
                                             Blessa, Old Mori and Finull
Dam:  Patsy Montana (SRX525K) - AI daughter of Ari
This fabulous Leadergal comes to us as an unexpected blessing from The Lavender Fleece - Laurie
felt so badly about the loss of our Daphne and Summersweet that she offered Redbud to us as a
"best of both ewes" replacement.  We couldn't be more delighted, since Patsy Montana is one of
the most reliable ewes in the LF flock, and we love the beautiful color of this baby.   Redbud has
become one of our friendliest and most beautiful of our gals, and much better built than you would
expect a Leadersheep to be.  We bred Redbud to Saguaro last year and got spotted AND
badgerface lambs.  This year she will be bred to Ilex hoping for some more moorit.

One-Winter Gals 2006

Laurel is by far the most ambitious of our sheep, and often leads the flock out to the
pasture. She has calmed down some with age, but still watches closely for potential danger. She
is everything you would expect from a Leadersheep except that she hasn't bonded with a person
yet.  Laurel and Heather still look almost  identical, and their lambs from 2006 looked enough
alike to be mistaken for triplets.  Laurel was bred to Hokan for 2007, and had a lovely set of
twins, both of which we're keeping.  She will be going to live at Stone Hill Farms after breeding
season this year.  She will be bred to Hoss, so expect some lovely fleeces from her lambs!
