HAM3N  Bruschetta (3/27/2003)
Black/grey horned twin
Lambing record: 1, 2, 2, 2, 0, 2,
1
Sire:  LF6M - Lavender Fleece spotted ram; Old Mori x 4 plus Saddleback
Dam:  Hyssop (BLW039F) - Jager ewe: Old Mori bloodlines
Bred by Smokeham Farms, Bruschetta carries bloodlines from The Lavender Fleece, Jager
Farms, Yeoman Farms, and Tongue River Farms, all major players in the development of
North American Icelandics.  She has a mixed success rate as far as prolificacy goes, but her
fleece is so luscious that I keep trying for another daughter.  Bruschetta was with Firethorn for
2008, but apparently didn't like him.  This year, she was bred to The Prince and had a stocky
son.
HAM05P  Caraway (4/1/2004)
Moorit/grey horned single
Lambing record: 1, 2, 2, 2, 0
Sire:  LF6M - Lavender Fleece spotted ram (see above)
Dam:  Hyssop (BLW039F) - Jager ewe
This full sister to Bruschetta has wonderful thick fleece that has a unique "pink" tint to it in the
sun.  The tog and thel were easy to separate, and both spun wonderfully.  Caraway has a good
solid conformation, even better than her sister does.  With perfectly shaped horns and a chiseled
profile, this gal is among the best the New World has to offer.  Caraway was open in 2009,
probably due to Ilex's back injury.  She has been bred to The Prince for 2010 lambs.
JDDL109R  Bramble (3/18/2005)
Moorit horned twin
Lambing record:  1, 2, 2, 0
Sire:  GTF202N - Old Mori and Saddleback
Dam:  Endive (HAM3L) - Smokeham Farms triplet:  Old Mori x 3
This chocolate brown twin has a long back, but an otherwise unimproved conformation. She
produces a huge amount of milk to make up for that!  Bramble's lamb wool was exceptionally soft
and wonderful to spin.  After her first shearing, she developed a silvery tog over the dark thel,
which looks just awesome.  She is the product of some of the finest North American breeders,
including Fresli Farms, Tongue River Farms, Woolfarm, and Yeoman Farms. Bramble carries
spotting.  She has been bred to The Prince for 2010 lambs.
MAE205N  Witch-hazel (4/7/03)
Black horned twin
Lambing record: 1, 2, 2, 3, 1, 1,
2
Sire:  HFI023L - Old Mori offspring
Dam:  MAE2L - Old Mori x 4 and Saddleback
This long, tall, matte-black ewe throws enormous lambs (see photo)!  She has a muscular build, and
the most awesome soft fleece in the world.  Witch has "Old Mori" FIVE TIMES in her pedigree,
which explains the lushness of her wool, which is almost all heavy thel.  This gal carries bloodlines
from Misty Meadow, Tongue River Farms, Walker Fork Sheep Camp, and Yeoman Farms - her
quality is evident.  Witch had a solid black daughter out of Ilex in 2009.  She was bred to The Prince
for 2010 lambs and had her first moorit daughter for us.
