TNY 526N Andromeda (4/5/2003)
White horned twin
Lambing record: 0, 1(AI), 2, 2, 2, 1, 2
Sire: Sponn (AI) - Moli great grandson
Dam: TNY05J - Golsa bloodlines; True North dairy ewe
This chunky little ewe came from a flock of proven milk-producers. She has thick, evenly
distributed fleece with a lot of feather-soft thel and relatively fine tog. She has the wide, blocky
Sponn conformation, and gains weight faster than any animal I've ever seen! Her 2006 and
2007 black mouflon lambs by Rubus were awesome, and all have stayed in the flock.
Andromeda will be in Kobus' breeding group again this year.

Flockmate of Andromeda, Sugarmaple is a true "triple-purpose" ewe, with brilliant white thel-rich
fleece, a low, meaty build, and True North dairy qualifications. Like Andromeda, she is an easy
keeper, and grows more valuable every year. We believe that she is homozygous white, as all her
lambs, no matter who the sire is, have been white. Each season she raises her twins on 1/2 an udder
with no assistance, the right side having been destroyed by mastitis her first year lambing. Imagine
what she could do with a whole udder? Sugarmaple will be in Kobus' breeding group again this year.
LNB 11P Beech (4/17/2004)
Black/grey spotted horned twin
Lambing record: 0, 1, 2, 2, 2, 2
Sire: Behl ram LNB96M - great grandson of Askur and Noi
Champion Icelandic Yearling Ram - Michigan Fiber Festival 2003
Grand Champion Fleece - Wisconsin Sheep and Wool Festival 2004
Dam: STS274E - Yeoman ewe; Old Mori descendant
Beech is our second tallest ewe, with a more willowy build than lost Balsam. She has lovely,
flowing fleece, and a LONG back - a meaty ram produces the perfect conformation in the
lambs. Beech used to be very wild, but now she tolerates us and doesn't act quite so frantic
when we're around, although its still hard to trim her feet! Beech will be in Kobus' breeding
group this season.
TNY 864P Juniper (4/14/2004)
Moorit horned twin
Lambing record: 0, 1, 2, 2, 2, 2
Sire - TNY512N - AI son of Haengur; Garpur grandson
Dam: TNY264M - AI Bambidottir; Old Mori X 2, and Gray Pet
Juniper came to us from Dancing Lamb dairy in New York. This gal has awesome fleece,
perfect horns, and a "National Inquirer" personality. Although a bit short, she has a
wonderful meaty build and good heavy bones. We look forward to seeing her lambs in the
future. Juniper will be in King's breeding group for 2011.
DL 03P Sycamore (4/4/2004)
White horned twin
Lambing record: 1, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2
Sire - TNY263M - AI son of Bambi; Old Mori X 2, and Gray Pet
Dam: TNY60K - granddaughter of Blaevar and Moli '93; Finull X 2 and Solee
Sycamore came to our farm with Juniper; like her flockmate she has dairy genetics, but was too
short for the stanchions. She is a lovely animal, with a blocky "Blaevar" build, great horns, and a
calm personality. We think Sycamore will be a pivotal ewe in our quest to produce the perfect
Icelandic sheep. She will be in Jester's breeding group for 2011.
