THE OLD WORLD
SRX360J  Athena (4/23/1999)
White horned twin
Lambing record: 2,2,0,2,0,2, 2, 2,
2
Sire: Moli (AI)
Dam: STS682F - Yeoman ewe
Athena is our flock matron, and one of our largest ewes.  She is tall and stately with lovely curving
horns and ivory fleece.  She has produced some fabulous lambs for The Lavender Fleece in past
years, and we have kept two of her daughters for ourselves.  In January of 2007 we brought home
her daughter out of Noi, who looks to be another great producer.  We are delighted to have Athena
as one of our Foundation ewes.  Athena will be bred to Ash again this season hoping for grey
again.

TNY526N Andromeda (4/5/2003)
White horned twin
Lambing record: 0, 1(AI), 2, 2,
2
Sire: Sponn (AI) - Moli great grandson
Dam: TNY05J - Golsa bloodlines; True North dairy ewe
This chunky little ewe comes from a flock of proven milk-producers.  She has thick, evenly
distributed fleece with a lot of feather-soft thel and relatively fine tog.  She has the wide, blocky
Sponn conformation, and gains weight faster than any animal I've ever seen!  Her 2006 and
2007 black mouflon lambs by Rubus were awesome, and all have stayed in the flock.
Andromeda will be bred to Caimyn for 2008 lambs.

TNY541N  Sugarmaple (4/4/2003)
White horned twin
Lambing record: 0, 2, 2, 2,

Sire: Ljori (AI) - Horvi grandson
Dam: STS29H - Jager ewe
Flockmate of Andromeda, Sugarmaple is a true "triple-purpose" ewe, with brilliant white thel-rich
fleece, a low, meaty build, and True North dairy qualifications.  Like Andromeda, she is an easy
keeper, and looks more lovely every day.  We believe that she is homozygous white, as all her
lambs, no matter who the sire is, have been white.  Sugarmaple will be bred to Cane for 2008 lambs,
combining two awesome meat lines.  Expect some fantastic muscling in these babies!

TCE217R  Aspen (4/13/2005)
White polled single
Lambing record: 1, 2,

Sire: TCE065M - Hunn grandson, Old Mori x 2 plus Solee
Dam: TCE157P - Kongur grandaughter, Old Mori x 2 plus
            Blessa and Golsa genetics
This gorgeous ewe is beyond question one of the most perfect examples of this breed that we
have on our farm.  She looks even better in person!   Another Icelandic anomaly, she is polled
out of horned ancestors, like Summersweet.  Aspen carries badgerface, and her son, Saguaro,
joined our ram pen in 2006.  She was bred to Kudzu for 2007 and produced strongly horned
lambs.  Her fleece this year is exceptional!  Aspen will be bred to Hoss for 2008 lambs.
